Scream is a Marvel Comics character, a symbiote that first appeared in Venom: Lethal Protector #4 (1993). She is one of five symbiotes forcibly spawned from the Venom symbiote by the Life Foundation.
Scream's host was Donna Diego, a security guard employed by the Life Foundation. Like the other symbiotes created by the Life Foundation, Scream was subjected to experiments designed to weaponize her. She possesses similar abilities to Venom, including superhuman strength, agility, and the ability to create weapons and tendrils.
Distinctively, Scream's symbiote grants her the ability to extend her tendrils into sharp, bladed weapons, and to use her hair as a weapon. She also has the ability to emit a piercing shriek, hence her name.
